All Plans and Designs Copyright © 1997-2012, Stephen K. Upham.

Crosspointe Architects has been granted a limited license of copyright by Stephen K. Upham. Crosspointe Architects shall be deemed author for purposes of executing project design agreements. This authorship shall be limited to project-specific drawings and documents, also known as derivative works. Stephen K. Upham retains copyright for all original designs and for all other purposes.

It is illegal and unethical to use these designs or drawings without purchase. To protect our copyright, we must prosecute violators to the fullest extent of the law.

The drawings and specifications are instruments of the Architect's service, and remain the property of the Architect. The Architect grants limited license to the purchaser to use these drawings to construct one unit only. These plans and the building designs are protected under the Federal Copyright Act, Title XVII of the United States Code and Chapter 37 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

State Licensing

Plans and architectural services are only available in certain states. In Texas, where Steve Upham is a licensed architect (Texas Registered Architect #13715) he will serve as Architect of Record. In Arkansas, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Virginia where Norman Patten is a registered architect, Norman Patten will serve as the Architect of Record. In New York, Steve Upham can obtain a project specific architecture license to serve a church.

The information presented in this website is neither an offer to provide services nor a solicitation for architectural services in states where Mr. Upham is not licensed or where there is no partnership, joint venture or association such as with Norman Patten.

Terms of Sale

The following is a partial statement of terms
spelled out more fully in the delivered product.

Crosspointe Architects authorizes the use of our plans, blueprints and specifications expressly conditioned upon your obligation and agreement to strictly comply with all local building codes, ordinances, regulations and requirements -- including permits and inspections at the time of construction. Additional drawings by local professionals are needed for site engineering. Crosspointe Architects assumes no responsibility for consequences due to changes made to the design or drawings. The purchaser assumes all responsibility if modifications are made to the design.
